Our club has excellent facilities, club-house and bar and has a place for all standards of cricketer. We have just purchased full mobile cricket covers and square covers thanks to a Sport England grant so next season we should have wickets good enough for test matches!.
Our ground is surrounded by trees and the River Derwent runs by the side of the boundary. We are within a six hit of the Chatsworth Estate yet only a fifteen minute drive from Sheffield or Chesterfield
The 1st team plays in the second division of the Sheaf Sports Yorkshire and Derbyshire Cricket League. The team gained promotion in 2008 after one season in Division three. This season,we are hoping to consolidate our position and push towards a return to the top flight. To do this, we need more players so if you are looking to play cricket in an ambitious but friendly atmosphere, why not give us a try?
For those younger players yet to reach their peak and also for those in the autumn of their careers, the 2nd team play in division five.
The Sunday friendly side have a broad fixture list against a wide variety of clubs and offer a relaxed Sunday atmosphere.
